The Wasps of WUHS resumed
play at the Varsity level in 1997, and quickly advanced to the State
Finals in their second year before capturing their first State Championship
one year later. A Girls Varsity recently joined the hockey family in
Woodstock, and along with the Boys, are starting to see improved success,
thanks to finally having real "Home Ice" in the friendly confines
of Union Arena.
